Bread and Butter

When we were in Berlin we went the week where it was 

Berlin Fashion week.

 And in the centre of Alexander Plats they had window displays of some of the designers in Berlin Fashion week, such as>>>>>>>

Van Reimersdahl

with the cool thinly painted colored lines on tights making it look like water colour. I also loved the millinery designs and the black tassled tshirt

Baiba Ripa

Had a more sophisticated design with black and white being the main colours, but I just adore the 3D skirt that has an orchid slash flower arrangement on it.

Anna Aichinger

I don’t really like the playsuit and the shorts and the shirt combination. I’m more infatuated with the deep scoop mustard orange dress. Chic and simple..... I very much Like.

I managed to attend the trade show fair Bread and Butter.

As you can see here very publicised in German magazines. 

I wasn’t allowed to take photos of the Trade Show as I wasn’t press, but it was incredible...... loads of street style stores showing the upcoming collections for fashion buyers to go crazy at. 

There was a place called the magazine lounge where I managed to collect a sizeable amount of magazines.

With all the buzz about Berlin Fashion week I was interviewed and asked about my style and about how the image of Berlin Fashion is Portrayed? very very fun, not sure who I interviewed for but I was in front of someone camera.

Berlin has drowned in Graffiti

Sorry I haven't written in a long time, I've been overwhelmed by my Trip to Berlin a Week ago and was just getting my head together and sorting through all my endless amounts of information.........


So the first thing I want to tell you about my incredible trip to Berlin was the overdose of graffiti on the streets. But I think it's not tacky and it hasn't ruined the quality of Berlin, its enhanced it and made it a city of Art.


Each piece of Graffiti is like an art work in itself, and the best way to getting around and seeing it is by bike.
I haven't ridden a bike since I was like 7 so it was great fun slash humiliating as I haven't got the best balance.

Here are some my favourite Graffiti from East Side Gallery (which is on the longest standing part of the Berlin Wall) and some from around my travels on bike around Berlin.

Here are a few images from a Graffiti book I bought from the artist Lake, 
I love his stylistic interpretation of the human body and the accentuated features.  

Graffiti influences a lot of Berlin's street style and here are some images of Berlin Magazines interpreting this style into fashion editorials.

so over all A......MAZING have to go if you want to be influenced by the ultimat urban street style.
